Florida Law Firm Improves Network Visibility and Management by Consolidating on the Fortinet Security Fabric
Overview
Cole, Scott & Kissane (CSK), is a legal services firm that operates across the state of Florida through a network of 14 offices. When it came time for a network refresh, the firm wanted to reduce the technical complexity of managing security and have it all in an integrated platform. For this, it turned to Fortinet.
CSK has nearly completed a complete, full-stack revamp across all of its offices as well as its two data centers. The Security Fabric Solution centers on FortiGate Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) for high-performance network security at the edge. CSK also rolled out a Fortinet Secure software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) to improve the resilience and performance of connectivity between branches and boost performance of both cloud-based and on-premises applications. It found advantages in consolidating its switching and putting FortiSwitch at the core of its network as well. CSK’s engineers use FortiManager to manage, monitor, and maintain the network and to reprovision or redeploy devices. By centralizing and simplifying device management, FortiManager has saved CSK’s engineers significant time compared to the legacy system.
